If you've begun to peruse my website, you're probably aware that I'm a writer. It's a hobby to me, not a job, so I do it at my leisure and enjoy every second of it.
What you might not know, though, is that there's more to my life than just writing. This is a brief introduction to me!
Hello,
My name is Madison Uram, and I'm a 21-year-old hairstylist from Butler, Pennsylvania. I've never lived anywhere but Butler, but I have dreams of one day branching out from this city. Who knows if that will happen, but it's nice to dream.
I live with my fiance, Nick and our three-legged cat whose name changes by the day. Nick proposed in October of 2020, - possibly the only good thing to happen this year - and we're set to get
married in August of 2021. We've been together for a little over three years now, having met during my one semester of traditional college back in 2017. Despite the passing of time, we only grow closer and more ridiculous with every day. I can only imagine what the rest of our lives together will be like.
I've worked at my hair salon since 2018, first as an assistant and now as a stylist. I enjoy meeting new people and learning new things everyday, but something about the career just isn't right.
To better understand what I enjoy, I attend Southern New Hampshire University online. I'm studying Communications, and so far it seems like the sky's the limit. I have a few years before I graduate, so until then, it's cut, colors, and the occasional perm for me!
Overall, my life isn't what I would have imagined when I first started writing in high school. Despite that, I wouldn't change a thing!
