"Citrus and Spirits" Release Date Finalized

Nearly a year ago, I woke up and was able to remember one of my dreams. I doubt I made it far in my editing of Trigger Warning that day before I began making notes on a new novel, one that I now know goes by the name of Citrus and Spirits.

C&S was one of those novels that was quick to outline and even quicker to draft. If I remember correctly, the skeleton and organs of the book were created in under three weeks. I can't explain why it came together so quickly, but I have a few ideas.

I've been teasing for years now that I not only want to write a romance, but also another trilogy. My first trilogy, The Little Paragons series, was a source of extreme happiness for me. Throughout the series, I was able to understand and develop my characters more than I could with Trigger Warning and Lost in Lake Anthony's characters. While those novels are the ones I am most proud of, they don't hold a connection to my soul the way TLP did.

So, when I wrote C&S like I was running out of time on this earth, when I realized the plot was too large for just one novel, I think something happened. I discovered that the book, the series, was something worthy of trying harder for.

I've sent nearly a million emails to agents, bookstores, and authors trying to better understand and become a part of the traditional publishing route. While becoming discouraged is easy, I know I owe Citrus and Spirits more than half-assed attempts at success.

Two weeks ago, I talked about my goals and aspirations. Today, I tell you of two things that are happening thanks to the world being friendly to me.

Citrus and Spirits is coming to Paperback, EBook, and Hardcover February 5, 2024. (EBook pre-orders begin January 30, 2024.)

June 1st and 2nd I will be signing, selling, and promoting my novels at 3 Rivers Comicon (Located at David L. Lawrence Convention center in Pittsburgh). Bring your novels to get them signed, buy a new book, or come chat and grab some small freebies!
